Answers to Your Questions
How do Private Classes Work?
Classroom instruction with ValKarry CC is held at a location of the client's choosing. Most people choose to have the class at their home. Class size can be from 1 to 2 people on up to about 10. We have plenty of clients who make the class a concealed carry "party," inviting friends, family, and neighbors to join in gaining knowledge and experience necessary to carry a firearm publicly. We are one of the only providers who offer class in this format, and it's the only way to get around CC classes not being offered online! After the class portion, we will meet at a local range (Triangle Academy, Wake County Firearms Academy, or Drake's Landing) for the live fire qualification. Fees for class cover most range fees. Students will be responsible for their own ammunition.

Is it safe?
Absolutely. First and foremost, we are licensed and insured, and pass all sorts of background checks to do what we do. Secondly, we do not allow any live ammunition in the classroom. For the purposes of instruction, the instructor will use a tool called a "snap cap." Check it out here: How to Use Snap Caps (Updated: July 2022) (cleangunguide.com)
Snap caps allow us to work with real firearms without live ammunition. Students will be able to learn how to load, unload, and even work on trigger pull without the risk of an accident.
Do I need my own firearm in order to take the class?
No. ValKarry CC can provide firearms to test with in the event a client does not yet own their own handgun.
